596 (B, C.) LONG STICK

A wooden stick, 129.0 cents. long, diam. 1.3 cents; slightly bent but originally straight, covered with a dark red-brown bark (resembling cherry) with light yellowish bark at either end (resembling birch). The knob at top (partly missing) of umbelliferous form.

<> thin strips of ? birch bark.

596 C. Similar to 596, B. Bark on ends of darker colour.
