604 A ROUGH VASE (CALCITE)

POSITION: Resting on floor, S.E. corner of chamber, below No. 352 (see photo 1149, but not visible in photo). DIMENSIONS: Max. H. 28 cents.

DESCRIPTION: A rough vase wrought in calcite. Bowl oviform with flat bottom; neck short, lip cut off.

REMARKS: Looks like an old jar renovated Contents robbed - residue on bottom. Distinct traces of wax luting for stopper or lid.

Lid found in Antechamber No. 36, C.
