Handlist description: Red ochre in small lumps

Card/Transcription No.: 620(83)

620-83

Red ochre in small lumps Good, uniform dark red colour From the rounded edges of the pieces and from the fineness of the material it seems probable that it has been separated from coarser material by levigation with water and then pressed together while wet.
