A ritualistic palette. L. 32.0; W. 4.0; thickness 0.5 cents

Materials Palette hard black and red wood (?) ebony Ornamentation: gesso-gilt Reeds: dark blue glass Colours: - Dark blue Light blue Black glass white (now slightly brown, but whiter underneath) flint.

Treatment Cleaned wood with damp sponge. Cleaned gold with ammonia Cleaned reeds and colours with warm water

Fixed on the reeds and 3 of the colours, which were loose, with celluloid cement
