A Ritualistic palette L. 25.5; W. 4.5; thickness 0.6 cents.

Materials Palette very dark red wood, almost black, with separate wooden ends, gesso-gilt, pegged on. Reeds none (see 620-65) Colours Black: glass Red: yellowish translucent calcite with red cement underneath.

(Reed hollow gilt)

Treatment Cleaned wood with damp sponge & gold with ammonia

Refixed one loose end, loose gold and the two colours with celluloid cement.
