Inscriptions In centre of red-wood panel at knob end, an incised (no paint) scene representing the King making an offering to Amon. Cartouche (Kheperu-neb-re) above and inscription. Round frame of lid, down corner posts, and along frame slats continuous inscription, incised and filled in with yellow paint.
On knobs cartouches, flanked by uraei in square frame. That on box Tutankhamon, that on lid Kheperu-neb-re.
