the whole construction is pinned with metal pins - the heads of which are gilt.

Remarks: Condition excellent.

Treatment: Sponged with damp sponge. Cleaned gold studs with ammonia and washed with water. Refastened the greater part of the ebony & ivory strips at front and all at back with celluloid cement. Sprayed gilt panels on arms with a solution of celluloid in amylacetate and treated with melted paraffin wax.
