83 Stool of ebony and ivory imitating skin.

1. Position In front of middle couch, opposite doorway. Probably not original position.

2. Dimensions Top L. 46.5 cm: W. 30 cm. Base L. 40 cm: W. 31.5 cm. Height 34.5 cm.

3. Description Cross-legged stool of ebony and ivory. Top.

Inlay of ivory on top & overhang to imitate skin. At all four corners breaks, where the imitation claws, possibly of gold had been wrenched off. Down centre of seat strip of reddish wood inlay - to imitate back bone of animal. This strip about 1.5 cm wide. Length of tail 12.5 cm, of which bottom 5 if ivory inlay.
