(b) (Cont.) J. Plain gold on gesso. Extra peg hole right through in this band. To end of J a disk of thick gold attached (glue) with floral pattern inlay of blue and green glass and translucent calcite. This not absolutely certain, but diameter of disk fits that of pole.

Treatment. Cleaned with warm water & ammonia. Repaired with glue. Treated with hot paraffin wax.
