254 and 255 Coffins.

Black pitch-like material.

Several samples were analysed. These all consisted of fatty matter resin and a black material not identified. One sample gave the following results: - % Resin 19.0 Fatty Matter 46.0 Unidentified 35.0 This is black. 100.0

Dr. Plenderleith did not find fatty matter in the sample he examined.
