256, 4.N. Two fibrous fillets bound with string - <> similar
to worn by beduin over headdress.

On crown of head immediately below conic pad (4.U.) - see
photo.

DIMENSIONS:
L. 58 cents. Max. diam. 20 cents. Thickness 0.8 cents.

DESCRIPTION:
A double sort of <> (caqal) similar to worn by beduin over
headdress; made of fibrous core and bound with linen thread;
having loops <> at ends - (see photo).
These were placed around the top of the head wrappings
immediately under the conic pad (4.U).

REMARKS:
Use unknown.
Six dark violet-glass beads over left orbit may have belonged
to above.
