256, jjj Leaf amulet

POSITION: Neck; left side; attached by linen thread; third group (i.e., iii, iii bis and jjj).

DIMENSIONS: L. 14.5, Max. W. 2.4 cents.

DESCRIPTION: Leaf amulet of heavy sheet gold; mid-rib embossed; has large eyelet fastening at top; was threaded upon linen thread with amulets, iii and iii bis, forming a (third) group of amulets attached to the neck of the King, within the linen wrappings (see diagram with iii).
