DIMENSIONS: Total length (of sledge and carrying poles) 273.5 cents. (Thickness of poles, i.e., diam. 6.4 cents). Sledge L. 124; W. 50.7; thickness 6.4, cents. Shrine L. 95; W. 37; H. 54.3, cents. (Max. H. including sledge, battens, and shrine: 63.7, cents.). (Actual length of poles (Front) 74.2;(Back) 75, cents.).

DESCRIPTION: Shrine of pylonic form, fixed upon a sledge to which are fixed carrying poles. Made of wood covered with gesso-gilt. The shrine is of pylonic form, having battered sides, frieze, torus moulding and cavetto cornice. The two sides and two ends are decored with <>, <>, symbols in panels, having a dado of recessed niches <>, and inscriptions along the frieze and sides styles. (See note attached)
