Handlist description: Outer linen covering

261.A. Outer linen covering = a shirt

DIMENS: L. 264, W. 100, cms Fringe 10 cms in length.

A complete shirt made out of a piece of linen with fringe; folded in half; hemmed on both sides, with openings left for arms; at top centre a circular opening for the neck <>. Carefully (roll) hemmed.

Lower right corner a dated inscription in black marking ink (see note attached)

There was evidence of pressing such as ironing or mangling.

Preservation quite good only slight discolouration.
