267, O. BREAST ORNAMENT IN FORM OF THE NEKHEBET-VULTURE

Max. H. 7.4, Max. W. 11.7, cms.

A breast ornament in form of a sated vulture (Nekhebet) in semi-relief and inlaid with lapis lazuli cloisonné fashion. In the talons of the vulture Shen symbols of carnelian.

The under surface of gold is quite plain; has two eyes for suspension which was by means of cord with tassels.
