MIRROR CASE (IN THE FORM OF AN cANH)

A mirror case of wood covered with thin sheet gold; made in two parts (i.e., the box and
lid), fastened by means of catches at the bottom and silver knobs at the top.

The lid is inlaid with the prenomen of the king, pendent solar uraei and <> (šn) symbols,
and below a lotus flower in full bloom. Around the loop the following text is embossed
upon the gold: -

Down the front of the stem the following text is embossed on the sheet gold: <>

The Box is hollowed out and lined with thin sheet silver to receive a mirror (of (?)silver),
which is missing (?stolen by metal-robbers). Embossed around the outer edge of the sides
of the loop is the following text: -
