MATERIALS OF WHICH COMPOSED

Gold foil and dark blue glass over a core, probably of metal (copper or bronze). The gold has been burnished when in position and tiny particles have been carried on to the glass and look very like the specks of yellow pyrites often found in lapis lazuli. TREATMENT: Cleaned with warm water and ammonia.
