269, N. GOLD BRACELET

Interior Max. diam. 5.4, Min. diam. 4.2, cms. CENTRE OF PLAQUE: Scarab in the round, of gold and lapis lazuli, within a geometric border. SIDES OF PLAQUE: floral ornament inlaid in high relief. BANGLE: broad, with pin hinge and fastening; decorated with geometric pattern. For materials utilized see note (A. L.) This massive bracelet of gold inlaid with semi-precious stones, seems to have been personal property and not merely for sepulchral purposes.
