MATERIALS OF WHICH COMPOSED

Ivory with thin gold foil at one end. Underneath gold foil is a strip of linen coated with some adhesive probably glue.

Colours: Red and blue (now darkened).

TREATMENT: Cleaned ivory with alcohol and gold with ammonia and water.
