MATERIALS OF WHICH COMPOSED

Wood covered with gesso-gilt; On wooden stand varnished black. Flail on back, copper or bronze gilt. EYES: obsidian (?) EYELIDS: copper or bronze. The eyes are surrounded by dark blue glass with red glass insertions. BEAK: silver TREATMENT: Cleaned with ammonia and warm water, and beak with potassium cyanide.
