288. BLACK OBLONG BOX CONTAINING GERMINATING FIGURE OF OSIRIS

POSITION: S.W. corner of chamber; resting on floor; beneath other chests and boats.

DIMENSIONS: L. 202; W.88; Max. H. 32, cents.

DESCRIPTION: A large oblong box, with slightly rounded lid: varnished with black resin inside and without. Lid pegged on to box.

CONTENTS: Figure of Osiris. See 288, a attached.
