time

Advised see Nims Residency, Nims. before seeing
Lacau.

Call Merzbach Sharia Emir el Saido (R over Boulac
bridge) between 5 & 6 pm.

From the few words I had with H.E. Ziwa Pasha (P.M.)
this morning, when meeting him by accident,
and also from Merzbach & Furness at the Residency
the air seems favourable for success with regard to
amicable arrangements for all concerned, but
but may be requested to open up the tomb for a short

period in January for diplomatic reasons, merely
to get a footing, mean??time, in which case should
require a small credit of say 750 £-1000 £
to carry it through. One thing seems most
imperative & that is stop proceedings - as this will
be of no use whatsoever.

11 am P.W. to Palace.

6 P.W. lecture

therein at the termination of the work.
